Peonies! Work in progress (I painted all the green leaves just to erase them 🤣). Thanks @convers_ate for reminding me how fun it is to paint these full of petals flowers 🩷. And with this post I'm also playing with a back to basics use of Google photos animation!... trying to reduce the incredible time loss of creating a reel . Cons? Can't find a way to post a photo first and then the animation. I'll keep playing.

Have you ever done a painting and then do it again

Have you ever done a painting and then do it again but smaller? I usually do the opposite, first small and then big. So this is the first time I go from big (12x12") to small (6x6"), and it was liberating 😃.

Cherry Blossom. Even though this cherry blooms EVE

Cherry Blossom. Even though this cherry blooms EVERY-SINGLE-YEAR (and it feels like the last time it happened was yesterday!), I'm always amazed by it. I can see it change daily from my studio...it is like watching a movie in super slow motion but always surprises you. I end up having 100.000 photos of that same cherry every year 🤦🏻‍♀️. I love to paint close ups of it's flowers 🌸
