Description
I’ve been thinking of a fun way to help you paint during a busy month, so you could at least finish 1 painting!
So I’ll make it super easy for you.
I’ll give you:
- The reference photo (a 6×6″ image on a PDF file to print, & a JPG image to use on your tablet)
- A list of the supplies I use, with the links to where I get most of them.
- A recorded video of me painting it from beginning to end (demo/tutorial, 4 PARTS)
- And one PDF page on how to make painting happen during a busy month
My first advice? Set a timer for 10 minutes, and paint! Then clean your brushes and leave everything ready for the next day. So, watch the demo and stop it every 10 minutes 🙂
Second advice? After 9 years of teaching The Happy Habit of Daily Painting, all the research I did for it, and hundreds of students taking my class and as a result painting A LOT MORE, what works best is attaching “going to the easel” to something you already do every day (preferably in the mornings), like breakfast, or having coffee, or walking the dogs! So, after that, paint for 10 minutes! It’ll be super easy to remember, because you already have coffee, breakfast, or walk the dogs every morning without thinking about it.
Can I give you a third? H-A-V-E—F-U-N!!!
PS: These are just 3 tips that will make going to paint easier. In my yearly class (The Happy Habit), I’ll help you create a painting practice that works for you every month, all the time!!!
