#DPEchallenge day 4. Honestly I think with gouache I had beginners luck with the pumpkins the first day 😂. Gouache discovery: once you put dark paint it is hard to lighten it up (missing my acrylics!!! BUT, it is SO easy to travel with gouache!).
If you want to join this Daily(ish) Panting Challenge ...do it! I had to do a huge abstraction of the ribbon 😄. @pattivincentstudio what I know about gouache (and completely forgot for not using it more often!) It's thanks to you, so, THANK YOU! I would LOVE for all of you to join The Daily(ish) Panting Challenge! It starts tomorrow! How to join? Easy! Just go to @teddiparkerart (1st week of October), @lisa_daria_kennedy (2nd week of October), @monicalinaresart (3rd week of October) and @pattivincentstudio (4th & 5th week of October) and paint the reference photos they'll share each week, as many as you want!, Then post your finished paintings using the #DPEchallenge hashtag so EVERYBODY can find and enjoy your creations, and tag us all, including @paintingmiles

Everybody is invited to participate in the Daily P

Everybody is invited to participate in the Daily Painting Exhibition #CHALLENGE this #October! We know how beneficial it is to paint small and often, daily if possible! So, we want to make it as easy as possible for everybody to join us. No need to sign up anywhere, and we give you 5 reference photos per week coming from 4 participants of the Daily Painting Exhibition @paintingmiles!:

FIRST WEEK of October: @teddiparkerart
SECOND WEEK of October: @lisa_daria_kennedy
THIRD WEEK of October: @monicalinaresart
FOURTH AND FIFTH WEEK: @pattivincentstudio

Just go to their Instagram pages each week of October (I'm the third week!) to find the reference photos for that week, paint as many as you want, and then post the paintings you create using these reference photos tagging us all, including @paintingmiles, and use the #DPEchallenge so we can ALL find and enjoy your creations!

The reward? The sweet satisfaction that you painted as consistently as possible in the companionship of well-established daily painters from photos they took!

Can't wait!

PS: this is the perfect way to keep going after the Strada easel challenge ends 😉
